The author warns of the dangers of TSP, yet makes no mention of the carcinogenic / toxic properties of benzene, including

Whatever you do, don't use a torch to try to burn flammables out of concrete.
The concrete will explode when the entrained air expands, sending small chunks flying. (Don't ax me how I know this...)
