 Scraping my scepters.....

I run stock shocks. I'm not looking at the bike right now, but I believe they have 4 height settings. Mines on the 3rd lowest.
About 4 times in the past 2 weeks I've scraped my new pipes hanging left hand turns threw intersections. How hard is it to bring the shocks out to their full length?
It looks like the guy before me just jammed something in that little hole and twisted. I can see that the metal is pretty marred. I'd prefer to do it the "right" way, if there is one.
Sometimes you get the bar, sometimes the bar gets you.

are you sure its the pipe & not the little thingie for the kickstand scraping? mine got bent a little somehow & I was dragging it all the time.
we should do this every weekend!

I took the weight off the rear end by lifting the fender and used an allen that filled the slot. Worked fine for me.

thats not gonna change the height of the bike so much as change the stiffness of the ride. its more for a rebound factor, like if your loading the bike down with passenger or luggage kinda thing. change the setting, change the way the bike acts. if you were to set that up on the highest setting, you would not change the distance of the sceptres to the ground, it will always remain the same.

Positive, it's defintly the exhaust.
Ahh, I see Newt, the seat might be higher, but the pipe is not going to move. Man , I'm so stupid sometimes. 
Anyone else out there riding scepters have any issues with them scraping?
Maybe I could get a longer shock absorber, I'm not really keen on rubbing the ground with my bike.

When I was wrestling with my left Epco using the stock hanger, I actually bent the hanger putting the pipe more inboard. Maybe you could loosen pipe at header, remove hanger and bend it a little in a vice.

Well I know my litle "knobb" on the kickstand aint round anymore, its totaly flat on on side couse it drags in lefthand turns..
Noone can hear you scream of joy in your helmet..so please do when riding and fealing free..
