i test rode a k1200lt last week. it was at the triumph dealer. i could stand to give up the BA. IF THE BIKE SAID TRIUMPH IT WOULD BE IN MY GARAGE. i would get the best of both worlds. my wife would be happy with the seat and ride and i would still be riding a triumph. triumph does not have a long distance tour bike for two up riding. the st or the tiger would cripple the passenger on a 500-600 mile ride. the bike above would be the ticket. sorry. i ahve spoke to a lot of passengers. you would have unbelievable power ,a great ride and a happy spouse. joe
