I couldn't really care less whether he talked to me or not (besides, this is not what I said) but let's put this into context again.

This is what I said:
"I approached his table, looked at him, nodded ... and got NOTHING!"
and ...
"I mean, he had seen me parking my bike and one would think he would at least acknowledge ... something!" (i.e. Following my nod).

So, if you were one Triumph America owner in a country where only 5 were sold (which is actually irellevant) and another Triumph America owner parked his bike next to yours (or rode next to you in the street, for that matter) and nodded to you (thus acknowledging your existence as a fellow "unique" model owner), are you saying you wouldn't nod back?

I just thought it was strange (until I saw him leaving which explained everything).
On a brighter note.
The picture (above) is certainly unique. The chances of 2 of our bikes sitting side by side again (in this country) are extremely slim.
