Without a reciprocated "nod" or a "hi" I wasn't inclined to start a conversation with a stranger. I don't know if you do things differently but that's my way. Since I got neither, I focused on my GF and my surroundings. He did however, make me LMAO as he was leaving (you know, the bicycle gloves, short pants etc.) so I guess that has to be worth something.
