If you're so inclined, you might get a section of solid square stock, say 3/4" or so, and heat it and twist it Indian Larry style. A pair of U bolts could secure said stock to the front lower frame area, then add some pegs to the ends. A chromer could do just that, or maybe paint it with black texture paint. Less than $100, including pegs. You might want to scope it out with a yardstick first, before you consider buying the square stock, so as not to exceed the width of the factory pegs vs. the header placements. Might not be good to drag the forward pegs in a corner before the factory pegs touch the tar... Maybe it wouldn't matter if the forward pegs pivot up or back.
