I'd say offhand, if that puppy was a 900(actually 885cc)triple, I'd jump on this in an instant. But because the 1200cc Triumph fours have always pretty much reminded me of a UJM(not necessarily a bad thing, but basically "nondescipt") in nature, whereas the triples tend to be somewhat more "distinctive", and they supply almost as much power as the fours while being a tad lighter. Plus the fours actually tend to "buzz" more than the triples do also, due the lack of a needed balance-shaft on the fours, and so I'd personally pass on it.

(but you know me, I love the old triples...but not the old slag-clutch they put in 'em)

Though, I have to admit that this bike is not a bad lookin' post-crash "standard".
