I've used something similar to
this (click) for many years, and I've always kept it in my front pocket. The good: everything is in one place (keys, cards, cash, IDs), and it would be very hard for someone to get it out of my front pocket without the keys jangling. The bad: everything is in one place if I ever lost it (which hasn't happened, knock on wood and all that).
