As you all know my bike got picked up on the 25th see top of thread. Well believe it or not I have just been told that Triumph have just received it in the factory.
I rang my dealer and begged so where has my bike been, he replied by saying well Triumphs own courier picked the bike up a week last wednesday so I would pressume it is lying in a crate in the factory somewhere.
I decided to email Mark Swepson Warranty manager my email is below:
Hi Mark
I presume you now have the bike and are ongoing with investigations into why the front disc keeps warping.
I have been on the telephone to Orrell, and have been given a full explanation as to where my bike has been for the two weeks. According to Steve(manager) the bike was picked up by your couriers a week last Wednesday, resulting it being sat in your warehouse.
I would like a explanation as to why you keep informing me that you have not received the bike.
Mr Birch
I got this reply:
Mr Birch,
Many thanks for your email. As discussed previously we can confirm that as of Friday 6th July we had not seen your machine, nor were we aware that Orrell had arranged to return it via Gefco (courier). Please note that we had asked Orrell to return the bike directly to us, alas they chose another route and delays have been incurred.
I can confirm that your machine was delivered to our factory today and subsequently taken to our design department for further investigation. I would also like to assure you that these are the facts of the situation and it has not sat in our factory warehouse as stated.
Best regards
Mark
PS: Please note that email is not used as a medium for customer communication and future emails will not receive a response from Triumph. If however you wish to call then I will be happy to discuss this matter with you.
I just wonder who to believe, all I know is my bike disappeared from the face of the earth for two weeks with either side saying they had not got it..
Will be glad to get the bike back
