Hey guys I would like to get some smaller blinkers that don't stick so far out but I'd like to keep the stock location so nothing is in the way if I buy bags later. Now what have your guys done? Pictures would be great. On NewSpeedmaster.com in the Bonneville section they sell smaller blinkers and I was wondering if they would work on a stock america plate bracket. Thanks

Purchased these on the Bella Course site. Inexpensive, inconspicous, & leaves room for saddlebags. Also, they took approx. 10 min. to install. mini-lightsCheck them out at: http://bellacorse.com/bcc062-65.htm

I got a set of these Kellerman Turn Signals at NewSpeedmaster and love the way they look on the bike, totally slim down the back end. They're tiny, but they are bright and show up fine.

Jango,
Can you elaborate on what all went into that great look? I like the rear brake light much better than what is on my bike.

Take a look at the ones on the HD Dynaglide bikes. They are smaller, have a nice shape and look like they'd be really easy to mount.

It's all Kuryakyn lighting. Universal Tombstone light although you can get one with the turn signals, plate holder etc. http://www.customdynamics.com/tombstone_taillight_motorcycle.htmIf you look through their site you will find everything I used including options for what color lights or size bullets. If you want specific Kuryakyn numbers let me know. I also cut 5" off the fender so it sits higher and right in the license plate grove that you have in the fender. It took a little playing with but I do like the look. To me the Speedy looks better with the shorter rear fender considering the short front fender it has. I realy need better pics and promise to get them on soon. That one was work in progress back in January.

Oops, I might add I think I went with the separate look becasue the other combined may not have had license plate lighting. This one does. http://www.customdynamics.com/harley-davidson-turn-signal-bar.htm Ok Ok so it was a Harley aftermarket part. Be kind.

Jango, that ROCKS!
I used the Kuryaken small bullets from Ma's, but I don't use bags, so I don't know how it would work with some. Shouldn't be a problem though. I think a Rocket III tail light would look great, but I haven't figured out how to light up the license plate.

I bought the Kellerman Turn Signals and love them but they blink too fast to pass inspection in PA. What EXACTLY do I need to buy to slow them down? Also, any suggestions for the front signals to possibly match the back without changing the handlebars?

I also used the Kuryakyn small silver bullets. Didn't have to use any spacers. Just used a chrome 3/8" nut on the supplied mount.

Rick
Rick, that's not an issue here in Colorado, but I know that there's some sort of relay, regulator or electrical thingy (WOW, am I a wrench or what?!) that will get it back to the proper speed. Email Brent at sales@newbonneville.com and he can tell you.

Are they the LED or the halogens? The LEDs from Kuryakin require the load equalizer which is relatively easy to install under your seat for the rear signals. I ran into difficulty on the front ones as my recent post states in length.

I just read your reply and I guess that look stuck in my head because i had already bought and mounted the tombstone and curved license plate frame with the silver bullet LEDs. Before drilling the holes to mount it, I looked at it for about 2 hours wondering how on earth I was going to cover the large hole on the bottom of the rear fender....now I see it is simple, you just cut it off. Now to get my front LEDs working with the rear ones and I'll be happy. Did you cut the rear fender yourself or did you take it to a custom shop? Thanks, I love that look so much more than the original big bulb tail light.
