I use a full face helmet. I also use specticals. because I use specticals I went looking for a modular helmet so I could put my helmet on and off without taking off my glases. They are noisisr than the 1 piece helmets. I bought , after trying several brands, a Nolan N102 as it was the least noisey. At low speeds I sometimes run with up. Like comming out of a 100 zone to a 50 zone. I once saw a mate sliding down the road and his helmet was worn right through to the lining in the chin area of his helmet. I have worn full face helmets since. Hope that helps you in your choices.
