I would be very happy to live on ANY Strasse in Munich, but c'est la vie! No, been there many times (but never too many), and this is kind of a landmark for me, for meeting old friends from Munich, and just a cool place to hang out and people watch. Even took a rather white knuckle ride on a 1974 Guzzi 500cc single cylinder Italian Army surplus motorcycle on Ludwigstrasse, on FRIDAY night!(and yes, it had semi-knobby tires which work WONDERFULLY on cobblestone-NOT!!!!) Certainly the one of the biggest adrenaline rushes ever!(and believe it or not, it got me even more looks than my America, maybe partly because it was painted in Italian Army colors, and maybe partly because I stalled it at a major intersection with a crowd of lovelies looking on, and took 5 minutes to figure out how to work the decompression lever/kick start setup (and backwards brakes and heel-toe shifter!!!) Aye yay yay!! Ho quasi merda io stesso!(hopefully that translates from Italian OK, the Greek letters don't work here!)
