Thanassis, looks like a pretty cool route and I wish I could be doing it as well! Will you be sticking to the Autobahns/Autostrada/National Autoroutes, or secondary roads? I know on the leg from Berlin to Munich, you can cut through the Thüringer Wald (Forest) between Eisenach and Coburg, and then shoot down through Nürnberg to Munich. Nice windy roads, and small villages. Make sure to stop for a Thüringer Bratwurst. Giant cousin of the Nürnberger. In fact, depending on the time of day, there's a guy I always go to for lunch in the Lutherplatz in Eisenach, can't miss his cart in the middle of the square. OH, and if you go through Munich, stop and have a latte macchiato or Espresso at the Café Luigi Tambosi on the Odeonsplatz (right in front of the Hall of Generals) You won't miss that either, since all the people watchers (and there are some "nice" people to watch since the University is right up Leopoldstrasse!!) are there if it's sunny. IF I were going and had the time, I'd swing over through Bern, and then down south of Lakes Brienz and Thun into the Berner Oberland! Talk about a view as you come south of Lake Thun and see the Alps rise up above you...

Hmmmm, if I tie floats to my bike and paddle really hard....
