TRAGEDY.
Throughout the years I had always hoped to commence my riding expeditions earlier in the spring, rather than later.
This year I was fortunate in as much as the touring started in the latter part of April and into May (13 days) and then continued a further 8 days in the latter part of May ... a total of 3 weeks (and 2000 pictures taken).
A good start, I thought!
I had planned on continuing this good practice the weekend before last (i.e. 9/10 June) whereby I was hoping to fit in two 8-9 day rides within the month of June followed by another 10 days in the beginning of July.
This would bring me up to the end of July and the 10 country expedition, to and from the Euro Rally to be held in Sweden this year.
Alas, but as Mr Murphy's legislation (Murphy's Law) would have it, I have had to postpone these trips for 3 weeks (another one to go, at the time of this writing).
It is my hope that I have not placed too much of a burden on you, my friends and extended family, but I just had to put forward for your consideration, this what I consider constitutes ... A GREEK TRAGEDY!
I would also hope that I will be forgiven for what appears to be my feeble attempt to conceal my woes and disappointment, within what would initially seem to be a thread covering classically derived concepts.
