Just like to say Hi to a great forum.
Went down to the coast at the end of April courtesy of Essex Hardleys. Impressive sight of 25K+ bikes of all types from all over the south of England.
After 30 years as a confirmed 4 wheeler, I got bitten by a bug! A local Brit built, big black and absolutely gorgeous one.
Fell in love with a Triumph thingie! Didn’t know her name, her past or where she’d come from but she blew me away, sleek as a panther and the presence of a queen.
Decided my Mid Life crisis needed to take a direction that didn’t involve a pub and after some study realised this chance encounter was with a USA Bonnie.
Now wanting something like this in the UK without a licence is a little tricky these days and the last month has been a continuous onslaught of learning, reading and forum scanning… But with CBT, Theory and DAS courses over, I’m nearly there. I’ve one week left of a three week delivery and after reading the commentary from you guys, can’t wait.
I’m already thinking of negating the warranty and haven’t got the wheels yet. (Not really, I’ll avoid anything difficult till next year…...maybe).
Great forum guys look forward to asking some dumb questions but hope/know you are a tolerant mob.
