Thanks Matt, for the advice and the wiring diagram it's lucky we have people that are willing to spend the time doing theses things. As for the gauges it's more of a condensation problem, moisture must be getting in, but I left it out in the sun today and they cleared. I hate silicone so I am not redy to go down that route yet. I'll leave any further investigation till another day, as you rightly guessed we do have real rain here lot's of it too, so there will be plenty of workshop time for it.
