just wondering is it easier to remove the tire or loosen the trees and pull the forks out?

Last set I removed (different make) the tire had to come off and the tree clamps had to be freed to unscrew the fork tubes.

I believe its safer to remove the tire. I have not done it, but supposedly its a bear to get both forks back in when you pull them both off, 1 at a time is the way to go

Definately remove tire first for ease of installing them again plus easier to handle all the way around.

I just did this to install the gators. It is you must romve the tire to get in there. If your just removing the whole assembly the tire can stay on. Easy job, took maybe an hour total. (off and back on)

Shrouds won't clear fender/caliper mounts, so forks have to come out.
