I know I'm old, I'd rather listen to Jeff Beck than Beck. Now I have Freeway Jam on the brain.

Jeff Beck has influenced more electric guitar players than just about anyone. That list would include Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Gary Moore, and countless others. He pushed the envelope of what could be done with an electric guitar much the same way Coltraine and Davis did with the sax and trumpet.
Don't feel bad, Sal, there's other old guys around here.

Thanks, Sal- now that song is in my head! ( It could be way worse.)
I'm old too, but there's something about the sitar part and the nonsense rhyming and the rythyms of that particular song that just work.

It's better than sunshine,
It's better than moonshine,
****** sure better than rain."
