Does anyone know if there is a difference in the shape or size of UNI filters for our bikes. My bike is a 2006 TBA, but the filter I just got says 2002-2003.

The correct model number is NU-3008. My label says it's for Triumph America 2002-03. This will fit any America or Speedmaster 2002 to date. The UNI for the other Triumphs (Classics) are a different size.
I assume UNI started making the America model in 03 and the bikes first came out were 02s. They just never updated the label.

I also have a UNI question. I forgot to pick up UNI oil, but I have K&N oil in the garage already. Should this work?

Like he said, go sparingly on the oil. Too much oil can leak out the drain tube below the frame and can get blown onto your rear brake and tire. I was lucky to notice it before it was too late the first time I did mine.

Its the same filter islandbum. They use a different part number in Australia. I purchased the NU3702 about a month ago and it fits perfectly. It also has the plastic bottom cut out. The foam covers the sides and the bottom of the filter. Handy if you have a drilled airbox

I dont have the receipt here in front of me but it was about that much. I also bought the filter oil of them for an extra 12 bucks. It is very very thick and gooey. They told me to put the foam in a plastic bag with some oil then squeeze it all around to coat the foam. Then squeeze as much oil as you can from the foam and what is left in the foam will be sufficient. Good luck, I should have warmed the oil first to make it handle better.
