Is it possible to upload PDFs to the PhotoPost, and secondly, can they then be used in a post? Thanks.

Nope, only pics are allowed to be uploaded. The text from the DPF could be copied and pasted into a post. The PDF could also be linked...

Or if it is a picture in a PDF you could save it as a Jpeg and then post it...

Thanks for the advise. As I get time I'll write up my experimenting with screens. Size, angles, lowers, etc. I'll make the template of the lowers that I made onto a PDF so that it can be printed. I'll leave it on my server, and link to it.

Thanks.

you can save any PDF as a JPG file and post it!

Display it on the screen and do an ALT-Print Screen (copies the current window into the paste buffer). Then go to a paint program, paste it and save it

Would only work if your PDF is a one page file though.

Or, couldn't you just open it and do a file/save as/ and select JPEG?

If you only have the free Adobe reader, saving it as a JPG is not an option.

I'm finally at home with an adult beverage and so can be more relaxed about some personal play time.

I really haven't had the need to get into the the full blown version of Adobe Acrobat, but I've tried the work arounds that I know. The image programs that I've used (JPegger, XnView, IrfanView) don't work. My PDF converter works between PDF and Word files. The only way I can make this work is your suggestion Phil. "Control+L" in Acrobat Reader (the background colour can be changed in the Preferences), then "Alt+PrtSc". This can then be pasted into Paint and saved as a JPG from there. Seems to be a lot of quality loss, but it works.

Thanks for helping me through this.

Photoshop will convert PDFs into image files inclusing JPGs and will allow you to sharpen the focus on the results. If you don't have Photoshop you can send the PDFs to me and I'll be happy to convert them for you.
