Well, here's a question for ya'll. We are coming up I95 to I26. I then figured getting to 221 for the rest of the way into Banner Elk.

Anyone have an opinion on a better (as in faster) way to get there? I drove 321 and it had a lot of road construction up in the mountains last time we went that way. 421 is too far out of the way. My in-laws take 95 > 26 > 77 > 421 which I did once. Talk about the long way around!
