I think there are 3 in that year and a reducer cone where the pipe meets the header. Be sure to leave the reducer cone or you will loose bottom end torque. Also be sure to rejet or you will run way lean.

I use an air hammer and a curved exhaust chisel to knock them out. If you use my method or the long chisel made from rebar be careful on the first baffle. Stay off the very outer edge a little. There is mesh behind it all the way around the outside of the pipe with fiberglass packing that others have had trouble with. Some guys have used a hole saw and extension with a smaller hole saw on it at the same time used as a center.
