Is there a set of instructions for installing Triumph floorboards? I've searched here but found nothing.
Or is it stupidly easy?

Trying to avoid any known pitfalls. Thanks.

It's pretty easy, but I can scan the instructions if you want. The biggest pain is bolting the boards to the brackets - getting the spacers and such in the right order. And use some loctite on the coupler nuts that are bolted to the outer edge of the boards. I lost one and ended up scraping the edge of the board on a hard turn.

If it's not too much trouble to scan and send, I'd appreciate it. It's doesn't look too tough, but I know me and I always have parts left over scratching my head going "hmmmmmm".

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Herm Albright (1876 - 1944)

Some time in your travels pick up 4 small plastic washers, and put them in behind the nuts on the 4 pivot bolts under the bloorboards. They squish (don't mean to get too technical here) under the nuts, and firm up the boards. They can still pivot up as needed, but gets rid of the wobblin around that they tend to do.

Thanks for the tips and thanks again FriarJohn. I just mounted them and took a test ride. How did I ever survive without these things?!?

Life is good now. Well, better at least!

The only bad part is reaching around to put the side stand up. Other than that they're GREAT!

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
