So folks here is the deal with the carb bowl screws. I used a brand new #2 phillips driver bit in a 1/4" ratchet,with the proper socket to hold the driver bit,that fit the screws like a glove,with absolutly no slippage what so ever. I did not have one single screw head misform.I could have reused the screws without any problem.I went ahead and put the allen socket head screws in that I bought at one of our local hardware chain stores. They were the black colored type and look pretty good on the carbs.I will throw the removed screws in my spare kit for the road.Anyway,the Phillips #2 screw driver bits are the same ones that the dry wall guys use in their driver guns to install sheet rock screws.They have a serrated grip tip,and are very hard,as well as fitting the screws like they were made together.You can find em in a package of 3/6/12 etc.. at your local hardware chain.If you still have the original screws in the carb bowls this is the way to remove them safely. Al
