I emailed the company as soon as I saw that fairing.
They said around a $1,000 USD (with stereo / cd player)
I imagine the mounting hardware/wiring kit for our bikes would be equivalent to ___________________________.
(please add your personal, difficult, unfinished project in the space provided)

I could handle that, I've spent that on windscreens over the 3 years I've owned the TBA. Did they say when it would be available?

geez, as the guy who tried and failed to mount boogies mid-pegs I hope someone will take pity on me and offer to help.

I hope the fairing turns out better than the two Corbin batwing fairings I've ridden behind - they rattled way beyond reason. One was on a Road Star and another on a Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic.

tony: That's not an america wearing the hoppe fairing - right?

The Hoppe units seem to be 1,499 including shipping so maybe "around 1000" isn't totally nuts. The Tsukayu hard bags are less expensive than alternatives and seem to be well thought of.

no, that is not a triumph.

I wonder if they would make a smaller fairing with a radio for us.

I don't know of anyone that has a fit for triumph. I was planning to fab my own brackets. I'm currently searching for any used batwing fairing, any make or model, I'll make it fit somehow. If anybody knows of one out there please let me know. Thanks

Put a WTD ad in the Classifieds Robert, otherwise this request might not get noticed.

The tsukayu Fairing is now available per their website. no price given, I emailed them and got the following response:
Quote:

Hi all,

Thanks for your interests and supports in our new fairings. Our fairing is
finished and available now, we are ready to sell them and the final price
will be quoted on our website these few days. The estimated price is about
$1000 including stereo system, mounting hardwares and air shipping cost.
As it is our new released product, a 10% rebate offer will be applied on it,
details are as follows:

1. Application requirement: before having this 10% discount offer, you
have to send us a picture of your bike, be noticed that your bike should be
in black/good customized or going to have color matching on our fairing
either. Applicants who get this offer should be approved by Tsukayu Sales
Department before they place their order.
2. Things to do when mounting: report any problems/ difficulties that
you face when mounting as well as provide us information/measurement for
better modification if possible.
3. Thing to do after successful mounted: take pictures from different
angles with high revolution showing our fairing mounted on your bike and
send to us.
After all, we will rebate 10% of your order.

Pls kindly let me know for further enquiries.
Thanks for your attention.

Best Regards,
Shirley

It sounds like mounting may be tricky.

Gosh that's ugly!
The fella that perpetrated it says
Quote:

Those are $90 ebay hard bags, made of 100% pure Chinese ABS. Nice finish and stainless steel hardware, and they beat the heck out of $900 fiberglass bags. The lid on each bag had a recess where the reseller was supposed to put his own emblem, mine had none so I pop-riveted some authentic cloisonne union jack fender emblems over top of 'em, found for $15 a pair on line.

Mounts came from M.C. Enterprises via NewBonneville.com. Beehive running/brake lights are $6 units from the local car parts store, re-wired to take standard dual-filament bulbs and hooked to the taillight circuit.

Fairing is a 1966 vintage Bates 700A bought for $20 but refurbished/painted to the tune of $150.

He went to a lot of trouble but I bet you could do a fair job reproducing that with the Tsukayu products

Seriously though I've been playing at photoshopping the Tsukayu fairing onto an america and the results so far are not encouraging. Adds way too much visual mass up too high.

Does this fairing make my bike look fat?

seems quite a bit uglier than my earlier musings with a vetter fairing even though the vetter is much bigger.
It could be sloppy work on my part but I'm not encouraged so far.

oooh, shiny!

Actually I'm looking forward to seeing it on the bike and I'm seriously looking at a trunk and hard bags. I thought about trading for a touring bike but I've tried a bunch and I still like mine best.

Not the bike Bill. The fairing and the lights. They are Harley knockoffs.
