Secondly, our "little" 790 and 865cc BAs and Speedmasters are already 497lbs(and that's "dry-weight" BTW, which already makes them one of the lightest cruisers on the present market), and so to imagine a machine with almost twice the displacement as our BAs and Speedies ever hitting the showrooms and being almost 50 lighter is, well, a nice dream anyway.





Dwight, my original point with this was if they can make a 160hp superbike that weighs 400lbs, they can make a 450lb cruiser. A superbike chassis has to be strong to handle that power. And superbikes cost about $11k. So it's not an impossible dream, it's just something they don't want to do.
