I'd like to say that I'm VERY happy with my 07' 900cc SM. I think it is fantastic on country roads and is just fine on the highway. I can't imagine how a 1500cc bike would be.
I've gone through 6 bikes in about 7 years and the SM is as close to perfect for me as I'll ever get.
