I'm thinking of taking this route one of these weekends. Anyone here in SD that would like to go? San Diego - Tecate - Julian - Ramona - El Cajon - San Diego Of course I'd rather stay off the interstate as much as possible but this is the general route. I don't know if I actually want to go into Tecate, but if we do it on a Saturday rather than a sunday we could figure out how to set up a tour of the Tecate Brewery.

Finally got around to doing this one. It was really great. Lot's of nice scenery and some curvy roads. Getting into Julian was interesting. That town is kind of stuck in a time warp.

Yea, Julian is an interesting place and has great apple pie.

N8, Sounds like a great ride! Someday we are going to have to meet somewhere between here and there and ride. Heck, maybe I'll be able to get away to Prescott next year. FJ, if you run into my brother (N8) while you are down there, smack him around a bit for me. Soren

Maybe we could meet up in the redwoods next spring/summer. Or AZ. That's closer to me.
