i'd suggest for someone to look at other forums before deciding which bike is "best", they all have plus's and pans, if you look at the c-14 forum they got some gripes about the concours. the bottom line is whatever suits you best, the FJR is very low maintenance, and just about bullet-proof. IF, AND, JUST IF, their was a BMW dealer in MS., theres not, i'd probably be riding a K1200GT. the FJR still beats the slop out of the K1200GT money-wise on money-wise on maintenance hands dowm. several BMW's had final gear faile in the last iron butt rally?????, i'm sure they'll look at that. it's your dollar, get the most out of it,,,,,,i'm confident i did.
