Glad it showed up. Sure looks a beefier on top, but the rear mount hole (which seems where most folks break) is still very, very close to the edge of the tab and the tab looks the same. Guess it wouldn't be worse, but not sure that's much of an improvement. What's wrong with these Triumph engineers?

Instead of a one piece stamped design, it now has thicker mounting brackets that were welded to the guard and chromed. The mount tabs are twice as thick as the guard piece.
