BACK FROM THE DEAD!!!
Problem turned out to be the hidden gas filter and the incorrect jetting by the previous owner didnt help either.
Thanks to Ian (the dog33) for letting me trailer my bike over to give it a looksy. Also for hooking me up with pilot and main jets as well.
