First, has anyone with a bonnie, america or speedmaster had thier TOR's installed and carbs jetted by So Cal Triumph, and if so what was the total parts and labor cost?

second, i get all kinds of conflicting accounts of how loud these pipes are. Some things i've read state that the early versions were quieter. Some say the america/speedmaster versions are much louder than the bonnie version which they say is just a tad louder than stock. Some say they're the quietest aftermarket pipe, some say about 1/2 way up the ladder. But i wonder if those conflicting opinions are due to the difference in loudness of the bonnie version vs the america/sm version, if indeed that is true. What is the REAL lowdown on all this?

I have a 05 speedmaster and want a pipe that is not much louder than stock but will add good tone and some extra HP/torque, at least enough to offset the accelleration loss from adding a sprocket tooth, hopefully a bit more. I also don't want to do any airbox mods if i can get away with that and still add enough grunt. If i get TOR's i would want the longs by the way. any diff between the longs and shorts aside from looks?

So whats the real story on all this?
