Hi Ron, I really do respect you, but this is as ignorant as the sheep who flock to this calling. I've owned 3 Harleys (4, if you count my '58 hummer 175cc hardtail - I don't count it). I, like most members here love Harley-Davidsons - we just don't want one. My last one, a new 1987 SuperGlide, fell to pieces at 25,000 miles when it was two years old. We don't ridicule Harleys for jealousy, we ridicule Milwaukee Madness. It is a humiliating disease, and it embarrasses its victims, it fills them with false pride because the victims can't realize that they ride a truly inferior scooter. They think they have the best, because they paid so much for an overweight, underpowered motorcycle. Our $500-$800 mods will beat their $4,000 mods everytime, and we can make them feel like they are moving backward in the turns. You Go Buy One - I don't want one. I especially love the RoadGlide, but it is about #9 on my list of desireable motorcicles, behind a couple BMWs, 3 Triumphs, a Honda st1300 or Yamaha fjr1300 and a Suzuki Burgman 650 scooter. I could have bought another Harley, but I decided I wanted a motorcycle instead. Take Care My Friend!
Ride Safe,
Dennis
Triumph, it's how I live and what I ride.
