I don't know, reminds me a a guy I knew in 1976. Didn't own a car, had never driven a bike, but got the "bug" real ba-ad. Your basic bum, but he did have a job lined up. He did some
research, passed on popular HD's, CB's of the day, but found a brand new (cardinal red) Bonneville T-140 to his liking, arranged some financing. Somehow between the choke, Amal ticklers, clutch and kick starter managed to get the d**n thing running. Everything turned out just fine.............

Just get her going easy-as-it- goes and gently remind her that helmets and proper personal gear are allowed on v-twins. I do know a smallish lady in her late 50's who recently (3 years ago) got a HD 1200. Sometimes the mass is a little much in parking lots and driveways, but she does better than OK on the road and rides within the "comfort zone". Sorry I couldn't be of more help
