So what is it? I guessing cause its lowered that its an 883 hugger? But why did she drive to Tenn to buy one? They seem to be falling out of trees around here. Is it modified or custom?

It's custom. Custom tank, custom wheels, custom paint. It's actually a pretty cool looking bike. '98 though, not '97. My bad.
Dood, we have plenty of cracker barrels up here. No need to drive 14 hours to go to one.

Be glad she didn't get the bug with this in mind. http://www.piaggiousa.com/pScooters/MP3.cfmThat's what my wife wants if she is ever going to ride solo.

Spiderfox, talk her into one of the Yamaha 400cc scoots. They go like the wind. One of the fellows that goes on local group rides has one and he never has any trouble running with the reat of us. Actually, it's somewhat humbling to be passed by him at 70+ not that I would ever race a scooter or anything like that...

Ryan, This shouldn't last long. I've never seen a Sportster that wasn't for sale.

It's not a bad looking bike for a Sporty. It's great that she is riding her own bike and will be riding with you.

I'm doing the whole fathers day thing with my family today. You know where she is? Doing a run to Orange County Choppers. (on the back of someone elses bike though)

I love the purple flames. I gotta say, what I like about Sportsters is that they're all motor trucked into a small frame. Quote:

Ryan, darlin'- you're either an awesome husband or you forgot to take out the trash one too many times.

While I have stated good for her for wanting to ride. I think you would have been able to find something like that local. Lord knows that Sportsers are not rare bikes. Paula I agree some sportys can be cool I have a friend that is really into XLCHS and has a couple that are bad butt fast machines. Nothing but go not even electric start.

We aren't married yet Paula - Just engaged. But I know she comes home to me. Besides, the guy she rides with is old enough to be her father. I'm doing the family thing with my parents.
Dill - I'm sure she could have found something like this closer to home, but I'll let you in on a secret. Sometimes, chicks are crazy, and they don't like it when you tell 'em. She made up her mind, and SHE purchased this ride. So, no skin off my backside.
