Thanks Soren; When it's time for a new helmet, I'll take a look at the Scorpions (as well as any other brand that comes with anti-fog shields). I have seen some pretty elaborate breath deflectors for sale; bandana would probably work just as well though.
Benny, I've heard about catcrap, but one of the reviews I read recently (Webbikeworld maybe??) said it's not being produced any more. After scooping the litter box this morning, I can assure everyone that it is still being produced at my house.
I've got a spare shield; I'll try some things on it over the next few months and see what works.
