If you didn't get the idea yet, switch the screws. Brent sells a set of stainless cover and bowl screws. You will have at least 1 screw that wants to strip or just give you trouble. If you know you are replacing them you can grab it with a small locking plier once you strip the head. Go easy and use a good screwdriver.
