If you'll completely loosen both adjusters you should be able to unhook the cable from the lever end. I managed to do this by using a large adjustable wrench to assist by delicately engaging the clutch push rod ( I don't have a manual and I didn't want any surprises from the kill switch hidden the the clutch lever housing)
