I've got a similar one that mounts on the top nut on the upper yoke - had it about a year and a half so far and it's kept perfect time and never leaked. The only thing I didn't like about it was that I couldn't see it at night, so I put a light in the front of my console that lights it up. You could probably use the same idea for the handlebar mounted ones, as long as your risers weren't too tall.
