... Insert your own location here. I was down at the local bike show and I might as well have been in a Harley showroom. Everywhere you turned there was a different stock harley. Each one was "custom" according to the owners, "custom paint,chrome,wheels" from the factory, & of course the custom bikes from the aftermarket with so much easter egg paint it actually hurt to look at them. I was the only one on a Trumpet. After spending about a 1/2 hour there walking through the showroom I got something to eat and proceded to walk to my bike. As I approached my bike there was a couple of guys checking her out. The typical questions & statements arose "what year is it?, I didn't know that they were still making them." so after the question and answer period was over I fired her up and proceeded through the gauntlet of Harley "customs" & I got quite a few looks and thumbs up. I didn't bother entering her into the bike show. I figured I'd rather be riding instead of standing around trying to win a trophy.

So does this make me an offical Harley hater?
