My dad (passed away a year ago) he had a 2002 TBA. 8500 miles on it. It has a tall sissy bar with 6 pack rack and long TOR's, honda magna saddle bag brackets. He did change out the handle bars to drag bars and the tripple tree had to be drilled to put them on. 100th Anniversy Cardinal Red....

Another pic:

I basically know the bike is worth somewhere around 4000. If we decide to sell it I want to know what a fair price for both the buyer and seller would be....So any advice would be helpful.

One other note...if we do decide to sell I will be posting it on here prior to putting it on ebay. And if you may be interested if we do sell then send me a pm

Thanks in advance

Good looking bike bud. Very sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you have been able to find some peace...

If it is as clean as it looks, I'd ask $4500 to $5k for it and see what kind of offers you get. A lot of the value depends on what time of year you sell it. The further past May you get, the less they are worth. Its the old supply and demand. You would likely get $4000 cash pretty quick if were for sale today.

I agree with Cowboy. I have a red TBA same year with 23,000 miles on it and I would probably ask at least $4,500 for it. Looks like you got it cleaned up pretty good. Good luck

Thanks for the input so far. Other info....Pipes are BLUE due to no AI removal. Spoked rims need a good cleaning and have a couple of rust places that will come off with light steel wool. I would figure this may reduce cost some.

Sorry to hear about your Dad, but have to ask - Did we know him here?

How did you find out about this site?

Thanks ...I sure do miss him.

I found the site after he purchased his bike because I was thinking about getting one. Did some searches on the internet and ended up here. I ended up with a SM.

I told Dad about the site and I think he may have lurked around some but he never regestered a name. He wasnt much into computers....so he would just asked me to search for what he needed.

To each his own, but if it were me, I'd seriously consider adding a 'Memory of' script on it and ride it as his memorial.

Would be nice if my mom didnt need the money, and I cant afford to purchase it from her. I have been trying to figure that out but having two bikes, two insurance payments etc I cant do it. Sometimes real life sucks and you cant go with the option you want
