I have a corbin solo saddle and the back has always bothered me because there is only about an 1/8th inch of paddind between the leather and the post for the backrest in the seat, its fine with the backrest on but I rarely use it.. Has anyone had this problem and found a solution?? thanks

I noticed the same issue when I first got my Solo Corbin but it hasn't bothered me on a number of 500+ mile trips.

Forgot about it until your post.

I noticed that too. I tend to leave mine on now, but the bike just looks so good without it!!!

I read somwhere Corbin will make an adjustment to your seat for free within the first year of ownership. If this is true cant you have them adjust?

Just out of curiosity...how does the Corbin backrest attatch to the seat/bike? A pic would be cool.

I also heard they will make a seat without the post in there too...

Inside the back of the seat itself is a square tube "post" that a square bar "post" from the back rest slides into. There's a set screw under the seat to hold it. That simple, but without the backrest on there, you can push back and feel that post in the seat.

I know it doesn't really help but I'd have to say that I'm with Frank on this one.

The best thing about the backrest is the awesome back support that it provides. I have never had it off.

Women and cats will do as they please. Men and dogs should just get used to that fact and relax

Does anyone have a specific contact they work with at Corbin? I've e-mailed some questions to their general mailbox several times trying to find out about ordering a seat and keep getting ignored.
