Denis, Well I found out about the panty hose picking up chips, but at the time I was in trouble. Hehe
Mark, I was going down the same road you are now and here was my thought. First I had to find someone that was willing to paint the Speed master bags to match my bike and the local motorcycle paint guru wants 300 per bag. I am sure I could have found someone else, but if I was going to do it, I wanted it done right. So 600 bucks for the cases and 600 for paint.
So here is the thing, lets say my bike is worth 5 grand, would I buy my bike for 6 grand with the painted cases? I don’t think I would have. So if I won’t, I don’t know if someone else would. The JCW case is 90 plus shipping, the Givi cases was ~150 and the Easy Brackets were~150. So the total not counting my time and shipping was 390 bucks. Would I pay 300 more for the cases if I was buying the bike, I most likely would. Now if I thought that I was going to keep this bike for a long time, I would have bought the Speed master cases and had them painted but that might not happen.
I am going to take a week vacation on my bike at the end of the month, I will do a full review then. As for now, I am happy with them. I am making my bike my main transportation and I can now go to the grocery store. Now if I can just figure out how to get that large pizza home, Dean
