The internet and media opinion doesn't mean a dang thing until Mr. Chase speaks up, and judging from interviews he's never going to say one way or the other.

Of course, John. Do ya think he's gonna tell ya anything one way or another at this point in time?!

What do they call that?: "Killing the goose that laid the golden somethin' or other"?! You don't think this nebulous little ending won't pack 'em into the movie theaters in a few years?!

Ahh...Yota's just tryin' to get a rise out of ya, FJ!

(I would bet my bottom dollar that Yota at least watched that one episode where Tony went fly fishing wearing his muck boots)

Hey FJ, do me a favor, wll ya?! You're very very good with here computer stuff, right?! So see if you can find and program one o' those bigger animated gremlins that wink so's I can have anybody who might think I'm ever really that serious about somethin' around here(and who may get hot under the collar about it) KNOW that 99.9% of my posts are just good-natured ribbing, OKAY?!

(I sometimes think that there juuuuuust might be a little misunderstand about some things around here)

THANKS MUCHO...DUDE!!!

I was more of a Godfather horse-head-in-the-bed kinda thing.

That and the site I linked to beats the dead horse in analyzing the Soprano's finale. In a nutshell, Tony dies because not only is the series told from Tony's perspective, but there are dozens of signs and portents (at least) scattered throughout the episode spelling it out.
