I've been working on mine... and I couldn't re-use the originals. I got a set from a very nice member on here that were slightly out of line, so took them to get them straightened. They wouldn't use them as they felt the orginal ones were too thin. So they've put new ones in. At £100 each side. That's roughly about $200 at the current rates. I paid £300 in total and that was fit to go back on the bike....which they are. (I'm just waiting for the wheel now..)
If you are gonna rebuild, get them made and get them made stronger.
