You certainly can chrome the stock handlebar controls. The main stock body is metal but the control covers are plastic. You still can chrome the platic but not every chromer does it. I did chrome the main body but left the plastic alone. I am searching for a very custom controls to fit onto my new Z-bars.
Al, I do like the PM controls that Bonneville performance sells. I wonder what the prices are.
