Boy oh boy! This here "tolerance thing" can be such a bore, you know.(actually it appears that it can catch fire sometimes, TOO)
Listen UP, and listen GOOD!(how's THAT for a John Wayne impression, huh?!).....
99% of all this Harley bashing around here is done in a mock supercilious manner, i.e. "TONGUE-IN-CHEEK"(at least in my case it is)
Sure, many(NOT most) of the Harley RIDERS(emphasis on the word RIDERS...NOT the machines)we encounter almost every day make this an "easy joke", BUT when it's all said and done, ALL MOTORCYCLIST share a common bond, and that is....TRYING LIKE HECK TO STAY ALIVE OUT THERE ON THE STREETS ALONG SIDE ALL THOSE FRIGGIN' CAGERS!!!
And so I have to ask you Mark....Since WHEN have you Brooklynites become so friggin' sensitive, anyway?
Gee, I always thought you guys were kind of epitomized by the likes of people like comic Dom Irrera, who has lines such as.....
"Growing up where I did in the streets, I had a lot of friends who would say the most fowl things about people and then just take it back like they never said it. Take my friend Louis "No-Neck" Garbolli for one. He'd say stuff like, "You know Vinny, don't cha? That low-down, good-for-nothin' skanky piece-of-...BUT I DON'T MEAN THAT IN A BAD WAY, YA KNOW!!!""
