technically it's illegal to TOUCH the emmissions at all...INCLUDING AFTER MARKET PIPES!!....thats why MY bike is TOTALLY stock I DID NOT change the jets to 135/45, I did NOT put a uni filter in, I did NOT purchase a tool from newspeedmaster to defeat the D shape air mix screws, and I most certianly did NOT purchase a kick a$$ set of specialtiy spares pipes and in stall them ...so you KNOW i NEVER took that rat's nest of tube valve and vacume line's called the Air Injection circuit off MY bike
