My friend asked the guy what he thought of the "fine british bike" (his exact words) parked next to his Harley.
The way the question is framed caused the blowback.
I would have taken your 200 first because depending on the model he has you probably would have lost the race.
a) not really, he could have said he wasn't a fan of Triumphs, or that it's ok but he prefers Harleys, or that it's just not his type, all answers would have been fine but he just went ahead and called my bike a peice of junk so I felt it necessary to challange his statement.
b) I've raced a Harley and won before that's not to say that there is no way he could have beat me, it's very possible that he could have but I'm a put or shut up kind of guy, I don't start arguments about who's bike is better, the whole thing was never about that. But if he's gonna call me out like that and not give me any reason or evidence why my bike is a peice of junk I for one would like to find out for sure. I offered to find out for free but he wasn't interested so I figured that if he was that confident he should have no problm taking my money but as it turns out, he's not that confident that his statement was true.
Let my dying thought be that every mile was fun and let my tombstone read,"They never made one fast enough for me."
