The way the question is framed caused the blowback. Reverse it, and have two guys challenge you asking about that finely tuned, well finished Harley. The question was framed to force him to say something like his bike was not as nice. Generally that ain't gonna happen.

I would have answered the same way he did and simply ridden off. Well, actually no, I would have taken your 200 first because depending on the model he has you probably would have lost the race.
